Chanavie and Trevawn’s Bridgerton-inspired wedding at the Palm Event Center in Livermore was as magical as it was beautiful. We infused Chanavie’s Cambodian culture through much of the floral design for a truly personalized style. Working together to come up with a romantic color palette of blush, soft lavender, french blue and white, we looked to the most recent season of Bridgerton for inspiration. She wanted it to feel whimsical and elegant, full of texture and life.
The Palm Event Center Wedding Ceremony
For the ceremony design, she loved the idea of a broken arch as a backdrop for their vows. She wanted to make sure the height complimented Trevawn, so we created large pillars. Relocating the ceremony designs for the sweetheart table was something Chanavie wanted in the design plan, which we were happy to do! We included many seasonal blooms mixed with the classic garden roses and hydrangeas that embraced the Bridgerton style.
It goes without saying, we had to include palm leaves in the ceremony design too! As you enter the property of the Palm Event Center, you pass through a grove of the most beautiful palm trees. Chanavie and Trevawn had their photos taken under them, and can we just say WOW. It made for some truly epic and FUN photos during their impromptu dance session!
We can’t forget to talk about the gorgeous style choices they made for their bridal party! With sandy beige suits and rich blue satin bridesmaids gowns, everyone looked fantastic!
A detail we LOVED, and coordinated with Anela Events and Shimmer & Stain to produce, was the seating chart wall concept. Chanavie wanted a gorgeous display of fluffy bud vases along this custom wall created by the talented team at Shimmer & Stain. Down to the perfect shade of blue and romantic script of the seating detail- it was so personal! We loved how dedicated Chanavie was to bringing the Bridgerton-vibes to life!
The Reception Design
For the reception, Chanavie and Angelica {Anela Events} decided to incorporate small candelabras on some of the tables for a more interesting design. We tailored the centerpieces to suit this adjustment to the design plan!
Their sweetheart and cake table were set against a vaulting built-in wall lit with candles. We used the ceremony flowers at the sweetheart table and welcome table design on the cake table, creating a lush and romantic setting for them to enjoy the rest of the night! This demonstrates how repurposing your flowers isn’t in any way a detractor from the event styling.
