Ana & Andrei’s Villa Montalvo Wedding

Designed in coordination with Caitlin McDonald Events, Ana and Andrei’s Timeless Wedding at the historic mansion of Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, California was an unforgettable day sure to inspire every couple with classic style. Ana’s refined, black and white wedding colors allowed the architecture of the Love Temple to shine for their ceremony. We designed an open concept for their ceremony flowers. A broken arch of babies breath, white garden roses, and ranunculus trailed down the steps, framing Ana and Andrei at the altar.

A Stylish, Black & White Wedding Vision

We worked closely with Ana to design her vision for her wedding flowers. She wanted the design to feel upscale, traditional and stylish- reflecting her personal style and taste. She highlighted white roses and babies breath were flowers she had seen in inspiration she loved. We agreed they embraced the traditional design style she was looking for and based the remaining design off those varieties.

The Design: A Villa Montalvo Wedding Experience

We love partnering with Caitlin McDonald Events for weddings at Villa Montalvo because of her design style that focuses on textures, detail and creating a visual masterpiece full of dimension. We worked together to come up with a custom design plan for Ana. Her reception tables included three different styles of centerpieces to break up the monochromatic white color scheme of the tables. We then incorporated black decor details in the candles, chairs and linens.

Our team relocated the ceremony flowers from the Love Temple to the reception. This elevated the sweetheart table setting Caitlin expertly designed even further!

Villa Montalvo Weddings are truly some of our favorites as the expansive grounds and stunning mansion offer countless opportunities for interesting designs and a luxury experience. From the Villa down the great lawn, into to the beautiful gardens of the Love Temple, Ana and Andre’s guests were escorted through a wedding experience that brought Mediterranean vibes to a classically Californian wedding.

We are conveniently located just 15 minutes from the venue, making it a local destination we love to service year-round. We look forward to our next visit to Villa Montalvo for a wedding in May of 2025 for Melissa & Alex! Want to see more from Ana and Andrei’s beautiful Villa Montalvo Wedding? View the Full Gallery

I have to admit… Most of the wedding community was not prepared for the 2025 selection for Color of the Year from Pantone- Mocha Mousse. I thought without a shadow of a doubt, it would be shade of green. So did everyone else I discussed this with after the announcement was made… It’s an interesting […]
