The Vision
Haley and Brendan’s wedding vision was rooted in French garden inspiration. Hosted by Folktale Winery in Carmel Valley, their wedding venue is reminiscent of a French Chateau. Designed in coordination with Andrina of Cocktails & Confetti Planning, we started with a color palette of french blue, peach, buttercream and soft blush.
Similar in style to the Mrs. Box Haley chose to house her rings- Andrina paired patterned linens, the maid-of-honor gown, and the welcome sign in the blue floral print. These careful selections tied the theme together beautifully for this Carmel Valley Wedding.
Haley wanted to carry a compact bouquet of white peonies. We created a textured bouquet in the wedding colors for her sister to carry as maid-of-honor. Though we didn’t incorporate white peonies elsewhere into the design, we included a few in the minimalist arch design for the ceremony. Haley and Brendan wanted to see the vineyards primarily as the background for their vows. We designed an arch from our inventory with smilax vines and a few blooms to align with their vision.
In collaboration with Andrina’s reception design for Haley and Brendan, we chose two different centerpiece styles. The styled floorplan in a mix of round and farm tables gave their reception space visual interest.
The Reception Design for this Charming Carmel Valley Wedding
We created garden-style centerpieces for both the round and farm tables at their wedding reception at The Greenhouse. Across the drive from the Rose Garden where their ceremony took place, The Greenhouse offers an open floorplan with industrial-chic vibes.
This charming wedding in Carmel Valley is the perfect inspiration for a feminine, whimsical garden style. We love weddings at Folktale Winery because it is an ideal location for a wide-range of weddings. From upscale to more casual soirees, it is suitable for weddings in a variety of styles.
