Elegant French Blue Wedding at Folktale Winery

Alexis and Nolan’s French Blue inspired wedding at Folktale Winery was certainly one for the books! Glamorous, stylish, and classic- it was everything you would want from a Carmel Valley winery wedding. Alexis wanted a really timeless feel to her flowers. She chose an all-white color scheme for the floral designs, to stand out against the French Blue accents throughout.

Designed in coordination with Paige Events, one of our favorite local wedding planners, no detail was overlooked. From the classically designed bridal bouquet, to the bridesmaids gowns of varying shades- Alexis’ bridal style was trend-setting. With her background as Miss Nevada on the pageant circuit, we knew she’d pull out all the stops for a truly glamorous wedding.

Set against the backdrop of the vineyards of the Rose Garden at Folktale Winery, their wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Nolan built a custom arch for their ceremony design.

The Wedding Ceremony at the Folktale Winery Rose Garden

Alexis wanted a romantic ceremony design with arrangements down the aisle, petals scattered, and their arch design complimented by white drapery from our rental inventory. We loved designing their garden-inspired arch design and incorporated blue-green tones of eucalyptus amongst the white blooms.

As they said their vows under the warm glow of the summer sun, the cocktail hour at the Vineyard House was readied to receive their guests. Our team expertly relocated the aisle flowers following the ceremony. Alexis wanted to use them to the band stage in the Barrel Room for the reception. We loved all of the personal details we saw throughout the day. As proud dog owners, Alexis and Nolan incorporated their sweet pups in every special moment!

Their reception in the Barrel Room was so beautiful and elegant! The chandeliers they rented really elevated the space and provided so much light to an otherwise more moody venue. We kept the centerpieces simple, yet classically designed to be cohesive with the rest of the floral designs. Alexis and Nolan chose a lush garland with white roses for their sweetheart table and we utilized some of the aisle flowers there as well.

I have to admit… Most of the wedding community was not prepared for the 2025 selection for Color of the Year from Pantone- Mocha Mousse. I thought without a shadow of a doubt, it would be shade of green. So did everyone else I discussed this with after the announcement was made… It’s an interesting […]
