The Faces behind the Flowers

Hi Friends!

We are taking a break from all the madness of fall wedding season to introduce ourselves!

We are a husband and wife-run a luxury floral design studio located in Northern California. Though we are based in Scotts Valley, a small town nestled between the Santa Cruz coastline and the bustling Silicon Valley, we service weddings all over California, and travel for out-of-state & international events as well! My husband, Steven and I started Love in Bloom three years ago when I finished my professional training at the Floral Design Institute and it has been a non-stop adventure since.

I have always LOVED flowers.

As a child, one of my favorite things to do was go on walks with my dad and collect “colors” which, as a five year old, means clumsily snatching petals of flowers from your neighbors garden until your hands are stuffed with every color of the rainbow. I was the kid that got in trouble for picking all the flowers in the garden and giving them to people because I loved the way it made people smile.

Fast forward to today, and I get to do that on the regular!

It still brings me just as much joy to make people fall in LOVE with flowers… It is my passion to harness the romance of every bloom, every stem of greenery, and creating a garden-inspired design. My personal favorite style of design is European-influenced and I absolutely adore incorporating heirloom roses and seasonal blooms to create romantic and textured arrangements that evoke emotion from all- flower lovers or not.

I am so happy to have my husband on this journey with me!

We always swore we would be in business together one-day and create a respected and admired company. Both coming from the corporate sector, we were always disgusted with the unethical practices and lack of compassion that exists in today’s business world. We wanted to build a business that treats those with fewer resources and money, just the same as those with more. We wanted to build a company that emphasized the fact that “luxury” doesn’t just describe a product, but the experience our clients have as well. You aren’t just a contract or a price tag to us- we truly cherish all of our wonderful couples that trust their special day with us!

We are husband and wife, best friends, and business partners. Our business is our passion.

On a typical wedding weekend you’ll find Steven setting up and placing decor, or unloading/loading- while I may be found coordinating, swinging from a ladder working on some large installation, or making sure you LOVE your flowers!

Want to see us in action? Visit our contact page to get started booking your upcoming wedding with us! We are looking forward to getting to know you and bringing your wedding vision to life!
